Mordellidae (Coleoptera) from Socotra Island

Abstract: Five species of the family Mordellidae from Socotra Island are described and illustrated: Mediimorda socotrensis sp. nov., Mordellina (Pseudomordellis­tena) purcharti sp. nov., Mordellina (Pseudomordellis­tena) janae sp. nov., Mordellina (Pseudomordellis­tena) stastnyi sp. nov. and Ermischiella bejceki sp. nov. Keys to species of the genus Ermischiella Franciscolo, 1950 and subgenus Pseudomordellistena Ermisch, 1952 of Mordellina Schilsky, 1908 are provided.
