New species of Oryzaephilus and Silvanolomus from Socotra Island (Coleoptera: Silvanidae: Silvaninae)

Abstract: Oryzaephilus socotraensis sp. nov. and Silvanolomus depressus sp. nov. from Socotra Island, Yemen are described, illustrated (habitus and male genitalia), and compared with similar known species. Oryzaephilus gibbosus Aitken, 1965 is also recorded from Socotra. Brief introductory notes on the two genera are given.
