Abstract: The description of Iranotelmatoscopus hajiabadi gen. n., sp. n. (Diptera, Psychodidae) from S. Jran is on e of results of the IInd expedition of the National Museum in Prague to Iran. Differential diagnoses and descriptions of the mentioned genus and species are presented and important diagnostic characters are figured. Sardinian species I. bartolii (Salamanna, 1974) comb, n. and Algerian species I. numidicus (Satchel l956) comb. n. are discussed.
