Abstract: In the present paper the author examines Dryopidae and Elminthidae found in
Anatolia and Iran by the National Museum of Natural History of Praha during
1947 and 1970. Parahelichus angulicollis (Reitter) (Dryopidae) is new for
Southern Turkey and Northern Iran; Dryops algiricus (Lucas) (Dryopidae) and
Stenelmis puberula Reitter (Elminthidae) are new for Iran; Riolus anatolicus
Deleve (Elminthidae) is new for Eastern Turkey; Elmis assyriae sp. n.
(Elminthidae) is described from Turkey.
