Review of the tribe Typoderini (Coleoptera: Curculionidae) from Caucasus with the description of a new species of Caulomorphus from Armenia

Abstract: All genera of the tribe Typoderini presented in the Caucasus Region, i.e.
Adexius Schönherr, 1834 (which is here transferred to Typoderini from Molytini
based on morphological characters), Anchonidium Bedel, 1884, Aparopion Hampe,
1861, Caulomorphus Faust, 1886, and Pseudaparopion Borovec, Osella & Zuppa,
2002, are diagnosed and partly illustrated. One new species, Caulomorphus
kociani sp. nov., is described; Caulomorphus besucheti Osella, 1970,
Caulomorphus talyschensis Reitter, 1897, and Anchonidium perpensum Faust,
1886 are redescribed. Lectotype is designated for Anchonidium perpensum. Keys
to Caucasian genera of Typoderini and to all species of Caucasian Anchonidium
and Caulomorphus are provided. A complete list of species with their
distribution is given.
