A revision of the genus Dermatinus Stal (Hemiptera Pyrrhocoridae) from Indo-Pakistan subcontinent and their relationships

Abstract: The genus Dermeuinus Stal along with D. erebus Distant and D. lugubris Distant are redescribed with special reference to their metathoracic scent gland ostioles and male and female genitalia and compared with their closest ally D. pakistanensis Ahmad and Abbas from Indo-Pakistan sub-continent. A key to all the above taxa is given and in the light of the above characters the relationship. of the included taxa are also briefly discussed.
